When we are commissioned to create a packaging design or a tagline, we are more closely involved with your brand and your products than almost anyone else! We dive deep into your product and brand world and are experienced consultants when it comes to the positioning of your brand. It was therefore a logical step for us to strategically expand the naming department at our agency in 2018 – because branding works best when the design and the name are intertwined.
OUR PROCESS
On the basis of the briefing and an intensive market and competition analysis, we begin to create names while reflecting on the strategic positioning of your brand. Using agile methods and a fresh mindset, several creative teams develop a short-list of names that present your brand in an authentic, relevant and differentiating way. In-house, we run the first rough Google checks, as well as carrying out online identity research in appropriate trademark registers and domain availability checks. This initial pre-screening must then be followed up with availability search work by your trademark and patent lawyer. The names also have to be checked for linguistic and cultural suitability.
