The pink colour combined with the alpine panorama is the unmistakable look of the Alpia brand. The brand has enjoyed great popularity for over 100 years. Stollwerck, the chocolate manufacturer based in Norderstedt, Germany is launching a unique range that is a real innovation in the taste of chocolate: alpine milk chocolate filled with added vegetables. Carrot & almond, beetroot & carrot and green smoothie variants which will delight vegetable fans and chocolate lovers alike. What's more, you can enjoy the new line-up with a clear conscience, thanks to all varieties being made with Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa.
Understand
The packaging design had to be just as refreshing and cutting-edge as the three chocolate variants themselves. Here the aim was to bring the Alpia brand bang up to date with the new design. By revamping the word and figurative trademark as well as redefining the brand colours, the goal was to appeal to a younger, trend-conscious target group. The complete new design has also been applied to the inner chocolate wrapper.
Create
Our design team has created a completely new look, rich in detail with imagery never before seen in the chocolate category. The vegetables are boldly staged, with typography and a choice of paper which reflects the naturalness of the range. The inner wrapper design provides added value with alternating, interesting fun facts about selected types of vegetables as well as information on the production process. Without a doubt HAJOK Design has created a revolutionary and self-confident new look for Alpia Veggie Love.

Not only was the outer wrapper the focus of the packaging design, the inner wrapper also surprises consumers with insights into the manufacturing process as well as presenting a variety of fun facts for each pack with lovely illustrations and extra details.
